Adopt-an-Artifact
The Wichita County Heritage Society’s main mission is to inspire, educate, and preserve local history in Wichita Falls since 1974. This year we are introducing a new way for the community to get involved with the Kell House Museum. The Adopt-an-Artifact program is a unique way of getting involved that will help us provide the support in preserving our archival collection and Kell House history. Every adoption will be valid for one year.
Every adoption receives the following:
Adoption Certificate
Digital photo of the artifact
Description of the artifact and its significance
Tax-deductible receipt
Adopt-an-Artifact
This Federal-style piece is crafted from rich mahogany and accented with elegant gilt wood decorations. It’s not just stunning to look at—it also serves a practical purpose, beautifully displaying and organizing the Kell family’s crystal collection.
This Punch Bowl was gifted by the Kell family to the Priddy Family as a wedding gift in 1914. Descendants of the Priddy family gifted this punch down to the Kell House Museum in 1999.
