Friends of Kell House Dinner
The Friends of Kell House is a group of dedicated individuals originally formed at the urging of Elizabeth Prothro after the 1980 purchase of the house. The preservation of the 1909 home built by Frank Kell, a prominent city leader of his time, is the goal of the Friends of Kell House.

Kemp Room Opening
On Friday, July 3, 2026 the Kemp Room will open at the Kell House to showcase the Kemp family’s historical significance in the history of Wichita Falls. Light hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
