This Texoma Gives season, we are asking you to support your local historic Kell House Museum. Through your support, we can continue to tell the story of our local history for many years to come!

The Wichita County Heritage Society was founded in 1974 by a group of visionaries who gave the society the mission of promoting the heritage of Wichita County.  From its inception, the Society seeks to be a strong influence in the community in the name of historic preservation.  While our accomplishments are many, such as the Kemp-Kell Depot, the Littlest Skyscraper and the Holt Hotel, our future goals are just as great.  Preservation starts at home, it demands perseverance, passion, and patience.  Wichita County Heritage Society and its membership strive for excellence in all these areas.
